Being a 1st and 2nd year student, you are probably of the mindset that you still have quite a while to start thinking about securing employment. However the earlier you start preparing for your career the less you will stress about in your final year. Final year will be tough enough with your exams. It is important to note that just completing your degree will not guarantee you the position you desire. You need to know from day one what you want to do, within reason, in your first job, in other words, have a plan mapped out for your early career.

Guys your first mistake would be thinking you are a catch to the market. The work place is uncompromising and in some cases ruthless and when you think “YOU ARE NOW QUALIFIED” finding a job will be easy, think again. I know qualified graduates that are either in a low paying job or out of a job.
